In current applications, processing and sending of datas obtained by pedometers to user are provided by high cost systems. Due to local decision making mechanism applied in all current applications, every dairy should purchase a computer and similar decision making mechanism next to pedometer and these equipments are usually higher costwise than original product.
Thanks to Pedometer For Everyone application, herd management systems and/or computers at farms are not necessary for use of pedometer. Datas obtained from pedometer would be transmitted to central server online and datas would be evaluated at central server. Estrus information obtained from evaluation would be reported to user via SMS and user would be able to reach immediate and/or backdate datas online through central server.

To be more precise, dairies who want to use pedometer only have to purchase almost ten times expensive herd management system too. However, herd management systems are used for monitoring of animal data on system, which becomes difficult for farms with a great number of animals, and they are not budget friendly for farms with few animals. Therefore, many farm/dairy owners do not use pedometer because they could not bear the herd management system costs.
On the other hand, in current applications, user has to use the interface affiliated with decision making mechanism to receive feedback, in other words user should look to the screen where results show up. However, estrus usually shows up between 18:00 - 06:00 hours and timing is the most important factor for a successful insemination. If it is too late when user accessed estrus data, he/she has to wait approximate 21 days to catch next estrus period. This indicates that it is impossible to obtain milk from cow for 21 days and this would make a financial loss to dairy.
